Thermal Road Repairs is An Official Member of The 5% Club

Thermal Road Repairs is not only striving to decarbonise the asphalt repair industry. We have showcased our commitment to developing our people by joining The 5% Club. As an industry-led initiative, The 5% Club focuses on driving momentum into the recruitment of apprentices, graduates, and sponsored students.

Read on to find out what this means for our road repair technology company.

What is The 5% Club?

The 5% Club, initiated by Leo Quinn Group CEO of Balfour Beatty in 2013, is a movement of more than 700 employers providing ‘earn and learn’ opportunities to develop the skills and talents people need to become more employable and create meaningful careers. Companies joining The 5% Club commit to raising the number of apprentices, sponsored students and graduates on formal programmes to 5% of their total workforce within five years.

Members are asked to publicly report their progress in their Annual Report, to give an overall idea of its success. Existing members range from small to medium-sized enterprises to companies on the Financial Times Stock Exchange index. These members cover many diverse industries, from engineering to the legal sector.

What We Do

Thermal Road Repairs is a green technology company which supplies systems to improve the quality, cost and time efficiency of road repairs and paving. We invest significantly in research and development, to create new technologies and to continuously improve existing ones.

Our services at Thermal Road Repairs are used to fix holes in current asphalt. Our pothole repair machine is used as part of an eco-friendly solution that comes at a far lower environmental cost than traditional methods. Sustainability is of the utmost importance to us and at the core of everything we do. We even have online videos that show our processes in action.
